Barbara is a professional makeup artist and has worked for several well-known mannequin firms in NYC. She received her BFA from Hofstra University, and has had several showings of her paintings and artwork since those early years.

Her works in oils often include mixed media providing her subjects with such dimension. Many of her landscape works capture the local beauty of the Hudson Valley as in her Ashokan Resevoir and Catskill wetlands scenes.

Barbara's skills as a makeup artist is clearly demonstrated when one sees her intriguing portraits. With her keen ability to create "life" into a mannequin, she is able to capture peoples' characteristics on canvas with her unique style.
